The Hammer (5.9) Trad Lead

The Sickle features an overhung 5.9 hand crack crux sequence that starts directly off a wide ledge, forcing you to manage your gear to avoid decking in a fall. Lots of interesting movement on this climb. The crux moves involve a high right foot, managing the tension as you move from a flakey pinch and sink directly into a perfectly sized left-hand jam at the top of the roof.
