I make these walks for my friends far away, and for anyone who needs a quiet moment to breathe. Today, we're exploring Kakuozan, a peaceful temple town in Nagoya that most tourists never visit. On weekdays, I simply pass through this neighborhood on my way home from work. But today is my day off, so I decided to slow down and notice the little things. 🍡 We stop by a tiny dango shop and enjoy one of Japan's simplest snacks. ⛩️ We visit Nittaiji Temple, home to relics believed to be from the Buddha. 🌿 And we take a peaceful walk through Yokiso Garden, a hidden oasis in the middle of the city. In Japan, there is an idea that I love. "Even a little can be enough." A simple snack. A quiet walk. A few moments of peace. Sometimes, these small joys are all we need.
