How to: Replace power steering pump and flush PS fluid (Ford, Duratec HE, Mondeo)

Removing and refitting a power steering pump, and flushing power steering fluid, on a Ford Duratec HE. This is Mondeo but the principle will apply generally. That is Mercon LV ATF and I'm fairly sure it's an error. A fluid pump of some sort to extract fluid from the tank before removing its hose. Rags to soak up spilled fluid.
