Heroes in History: Afeera

And we finally have our Heroes in History on Afeera. This one was not an easy one to make, and I'm sure it shows. As a student who has researched the Islamic expansion, that effect on Europe and the Middle East, and the European response (ie. The Crusades, Reconquista, and Balkan Wars), I was incredibly excited to research and dive into this. The developers did already say that Afeera is based on the Mamluks, but I wanted to double check and make sure. I recieved quite a bit of criticism for saying this in an impressions video though, and I've been told by numerous people that she's actually Persian. In this video I break down all the evidence I could find, refute a comment that tried to mock my stance, and I even add a few memes at the end of the video for good measure. I do hope ya'll enjoy!
