Just buy a replacement filter pump for $50 from Intex, and keep it around for when your pump fails. And it WILL fail. Why bother with a warranty claim? It could take weeks for them to replace the pump under warranty. From all the reviews I've read, Intex customer support sucks. If you have a pump in stock, you can replace it in less than 30 minutes - your water won't even have time to get cold.
