UP 4846 Reno Local West | Galletti Wy. Railroad Crossing, Reno NV

June 24, 2026 I made a trip out to Reno where I haven't been in several years to chase the Reno Local specifically for the first time up the 395 Reno Branch after studying the locals running days to the branch, I decided to give it a try and was successful. I set up here at Galletti Way hoping to at least get some main line traffic before the local came out of the yard but two trains were passing in a race westbound already so I just waited here for the local which I was anyway still if I did get a main line train before. I was also thinking at the moment, I should set up at 4th St since I missed those two main line trains but that'll have to wait for another time. This crossing visually remains the same as it did the first and last time I filmed it here several years ago except not counting some gate barrier itself changes.
