Thoughts on Floor Pressing. Although I haven't used floor presses as one of my staples in my training programs over the years, I can see where there can be some benefits to using such a press in your training program. Outlined in this video are a few of these advantages, such as working on a weak link in the top range of the motion during pressing, avoiding putting pressure on the shoulders in case you have a preexisting injury that is exasperated in the lower half of the range of motion, and also working on the "firing" mechanism in the nervous system for more reps without the muscle fatigue getting in the way which is what happens in the constant tension repetitions. http://www.naturalgallantbodybuilding...
