It's just over three hours on an EVA Air flight from Taipei, Taiwan's Taoyuan International Airport. This time I'm traveling solo to Hanoi, Vietnam. As an "overseas trip that won't tire me out," I once again stayed at a wonderful hotel: the InterContinental Hanoi West Lake. As a status perk, I was upgraded to a suite room (great). The overwater room offers a panoramic view of the West Lake. I strolled around the old town and ate a lot, but I also spent the time relaxing in my room drinking coffee. It was a luxurious solo trip to Hanoi.
