Played for Yokohama Marinos for three seasons at the start of the J.League. After retirement, served as a coach and manager for Yokohama F. Marinos. Currently active as a commentator. Known as one of the most knowledgeable soccer enthusiasts in the entertainment industry, his passionate discussions about soccer are popular, and he appears on many soccer-related programs.
