SDR Play RSPdx with CCW LAA++, vs ICOM R8600 with CCW LAA+

Having a general poke about the bands. Not really a fair comparison, as the LAA++ has a 1m diameter, 10mm copper tube antenna element, whereas the older LAA+ has the standard wire antenna element, as supplied with the kit. The Icom R-8600 does better on noisy bands in general, as it's bandpass filters help, and it doesn't overload easily at all, but the LAA++ pulls in the signals better most of the time (not always, though).
