PlayStation - DIGITAL ONLY future? Thankfully the Physical Past is an Eternal Backlog

Two weeks after the news, I finally got around to completing a video on my thoughts... which was over an hour long. So if I missed a detail here, it's probably because I cut 60% of my recording for time sake. Truthfully, I mostly play PS4 and earlier but I would like to see gaming's future be awesome. But so far, I'm not onboard. I still own every console by Nintendo, SEGA, Xbox, and PlayStation until this newest generation. I do own a PS5 but I've skipped the XboxSeries and Switch 2. And if this news holds true about Sony, then the PS6 will be on that list too. And honestly, it still doesn't really seem like PS5 is a thing. For me, it's been the least interesting, lowest impact console generation by far. I probably play more PS4 games on it than PS5. So, I don't need a new system anyway, but if Digital Only is the future, then I'm out for sure. I'm good. I hope many of you just revisit the old stuff and let this Digital Only experiment fail fantastically. We have our old games. 4k Grass Remakes of games from the Xbox360 era aren't enough for me to fall in line. Whatever your taste in gaming, just remember to have fun. Because when the hassle outweighs the enjoyment, it's probably time to just let it go.
