How perspective shapes perception — and how returning to the “driver’s seat” restores clarity and power. Much of the anxiety people feel right now comes from the expectation that the world should be different than it is. Expectations act like a lens: once you’re looking through them, you stop seeing clearly. Humans have been on Earth for roughly 300,000 years, while agriculture and ownership-based cultures are only about 10–12,000 years old — a very recent experiment in the long arc of human life.
