I searched for this video after having not listened to it for a while and found it gone from YouTube, along with the channel that originally uploaded it, so I decided to put it here again. A lot of people, including me, really enjoy this mix, and it even served as inspiration for the album NEWS AT 11 (https://news-at-11.bandcamp.com/album.... On the page of Vapor Memory's upload of the album (   • 猫 シ Corp. : NEWS AT 11  ), 猫 シ Corp. replied to a comment mentioning this mix that it was what helped him come up with his idea (comment thread: https://ibb.co/gS71Xa). So, I thought that it was definitely worth re-uploading. At first I was one of the people who didn't like the image associated with this mix but after a little bit I realized that it sums up the mood of the collection entirely: the death of a time that is now longed for. I can imagine this playing over one of the announcement speakers in the WTC as it burned, as if it signifies the waiting room for imminent death. The combination of the image and the music, to me at least, shows how the bubble of VHS-era luxury was burst by both over-indulgence and the harsh reality of the modern era. So, I present to you the mix with its original image so that you may come to your own conclusions about its significance.
