Apocalyptica's Eicca Toppinen and Perttu Kivilaakso talk to host Christina Rowatt about their next record, artistic independence, Metallica and how orchestras and classical musicians party much harder than rock musicians. Finland's Apocalyptica play cellos to create classical metal music with intense emotion. They emerged in the mid-90's as an instrumental band specialising in Metallica covers. They have since evolved into a band that makes exceptional original songs as well. Their long-awaited next record Cell-0 is out in January 2020.
