Urban Refugee: Bangkok

Urban Refugee: Bangkok Filmed and directed by Tara Milutis of Milutis Films - http://milutisfilms.com/ You can also find Tara on twitter - @taramilutis To donate and get more info on Dwight's charity visit: http://courageouskitchen.org This documentary takes an in depth look at first the plight of urban refugees in Bangkok. Many of them have fled harrowing circumstances only to find more trouble in Thailand. Those who do seek refuge in Thailand find either indefinite detention in jails, or a life in the shadows with no legitimate opportunities to work to support themselves. Access to healthcare and education are also problematic, and we all have an obligation to do something. The second portion of the video takes a closer look at what Dwight does to make a difference in Bangkok. More specifically, using his Courageous Kitchen program to bring food and educate asylum seeker communities. Many youtube followers may not know the full scale of the work of Courageous Kitchen and we hope this video inspires you to share, give, and get involved. Courageous Kitchen is tax exempt public charity in the US, you can donate by visiting http://courageouskitchen.org Special thanks to all who helped in the production of the video!
