The Chinese Remainder Theorem
In this video, we introduce the Chinese Remainder Theorem. We begin by studying systems of congruences and investigating when they can be solved simultaneously. When the moduli are pairwise relatively prime, the Chinese Remainder Theorem guarantees the existence of a unique solution modulo the product of the moduli. #mikethemathematician, #mikedabkowski, #profdabkowski, #numbertheory
