Bagong Pilipinas Kick-off Rally 01/28/2024

Quirino Grandstand, Manila City January 28, 2024 President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., together with the First Family and members of the Cabinet, leads the nation in welcoming the ‘Bagong Pilipinas’ brand of governance with a kick-off rally at the Quirino Grandstand in the City of Manila on January 28, 2024.  'Bagong Pilipinas’ (New Philippines) is a movement that transcends partisan divides, mobilizing citizens from all walks of life to actively engage in the pursuit of common goals. This new approach to governance is characterized by a principled, accountable and dependable government reinforced by unified institutions of society, whose common objective is to realize the goals and aspirations of every Filipino. This significant event features various artists showcasing their talents during the pre-show and main program with performances including dancing, singing, drumming and spoken word poetry, among others. Additionally, the rally offers a ‘Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair,’ which brings together various programs and services from different national government agencies in a one-stop shop.  These services include payouts to pre-identified beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development's (DSWD) Assistance for Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS), clearances from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Philippine National Police (PNP), registration with Pag-IBIG Fund, PhilHealth and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), along with other transactions involving the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Social Security System (SSS), and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The event also features recreational activities and food stalls in the vicinity, as well as a Bagong Pilipinas commitment wall for attendees to sign and show their support.
