Climbing the Bells Traverse (14ers #56-57/58)

Our first attempt of Maroon Peak did not go as planned, as you’ll see, which I’m not going to lie, was incredibly frustrating after a 4,000’ ascent. But, I know we made the right call. We respected the mountain, and in return, we were rewarded with a blue bird day on Sunday, AND, the luck of an Aspen mountain guide arriving on the summit with a client right after us who ended up showing us the entire way through the traverse !!
