Burkina : Il faut sauver le gendarme Jean
Jean Ouédraogo was recruited in 2015 as part of the 43rd class of Gendarmerie non-commissioned officer cadets. Following corporal abuse administered by an instructor, which allegedly deteriorated his health, he was discharged from the army. Suffering for several years due to a lack of resources to provide care, this 25-year-old man twice came close to paralysis. Now left to his own devices, he is seeking support to regain his health and dignity. His legal case for compensation for the injuries suffered has so far been unsuccessful. REPORT.
