Decode vs. SYR on Mill w/ Ingame Voice

I mostly made this for the ingame voice and good memories of old teammates. This is a CAL Season 12 Match vs. SYR (despite their tag). You'll have to watch to see what SYR stands for. Decode has a few clutch rounds on T-side (2nd half). See timestamps and comments below. Another Decode POV:    • Decode vs.  GuardiaN w/ Ingame Voice   ------ 1st Half (CT): 0:00 - Start. 0:35 - MDK 4K. 2:08 - TK nade on Whitey. 2:51 - Disco frustrated w/ Whitey. 4:06 - Disco prefire clutch. 6:38 - Whitey 3K famas. 9:05 - PDO noscope. 10:15 - Fluff 4K (Decode POV) 10:57 - Fluff 4K (Fluff POV) 11:35 - 3K B. 13:46 - Whitey 3K colt. 14:32 - 3K anti-eco. 19:55 - Disco ladder struggles. 20:19 - Scores. ------ 20:24 - 2nd Half (T) 22:45 - Disco skeptical. 23:48 - Enemy TK nade. 24:18 - GLUGLY 2 CLIP. 25:50 - PDO & Decode 2v4. 26:32 - Decode 1v1 A. 27:45 - Decode 1v1 B. 31:01 - "Keep doing what works." 31:20 - SYR eco rush mid. 35:55 - Whitey jokes about how unclutch PDO is. 40:45 - Scores. MISC: Disco: "I'm gonna use the smoke to my advantage." Dies. - 7:49 ------ COMMENTS This match might be a team record for friendly compliments. Funny how TFR rocked in gunrounds but lost both pistols. Should've won CT, they just needed to rush MDK in the nook after PDO's flash. Smoke was probably thicker ingame (8:32). The only reason buying T 3rd round was iffy (22:45) was because they bought deagles 2nd round. Should've just glocked it after planting 1st round. After 33:15 the server lags and messes up the ingame voice. Seems like they didn't have Ventrillo to fall back on because PDO said to pub it. ------ EDIT NOTES Decode spams the scoreboard like a maniac so I removed it using HLAE. Disco's ingame was quiet so I boosted it when possible. I removed the ambient Mill wind. Go to Counter-Strike\valve\sound\ambience and move "wind2.wav" to another folder until you need it again. ------ Brief TFR history and the players in this match: Cyber and I joined TFR in late 2002, played 2.5 CAL Seasons, then the team fell apart in early 2004. It was revived with the help of MiM/RRA members Discombobulator, Decode, Fluff, and Alan, who joined old TFR members PDO and Whitey. Cyber and I rejoined in the spring of 2005 (Season 14). I have Decode's POV demos from CAL Season 12 up to 15 (late 2005) when the team died again. Unfortunately I have no demos of my own from this time, except a laggy Train match vs. FBI from Season 15. TFR rose from the ashes in early 2006 with the core of Disco/Cyber/yours truly, and new players Pip/Gen/Mob. We played leagues until 2008, then scrimmed until late 2010. This is where most of my POV/HLTV demos come from (plus a few dozen vintage 1.5 demos). PDO, Whitey, and Decode returned and played here and there. Whitey, mostly as a scrim ringer. PDO was a starter in Seasons 21-22 (2008). Decode last played as a backup in Season 19 (Summer 2007) and played 3 matches for us. I uploaded his 2nd to last match here (my POV):    • Marsh vs. Without Cause on Nuke   Decode recently gave me a ton of ancient demos from 2002-2003 when he organized LANs at his college. That includes Disco and Capt. Zeebo from the GE/PD Elite. I haven't watched them all yet. Not sure if I'll ever upload a capture of them, but maybe a few clips. I'm not sure what happened to Fluff. I never played with him or knew him. He was usually one of their top fraggers. Would've been helpful on later TFR squads. ------- CAL Season 12 - Week 3 September 27, 2004 Map: de_cpl_mill TFR: Decode (Adam), Discombobulator (Randy), Fluff (Phil), PDO (PerfectlyDarkOne, Brian), Whitey (Marcum) SYR: rby, TurtleBoy, [V]o|2bid (Vorbid), Murder.Death.Kill, Stealth Master Result: TFR over SYR 20-10 (CT: 10-5, T: 10-5) ------ Sound settings: CS volume 0.30, DaVinci compressor: +2.5 makeup, threshold -10, 3:1 ratio, knee 100, attack 0.70 ms, hold 134 ms, release 775 ms. 22.8 LUFs. ------ #cs16 #retrogaming #de_cpl_mill
