In Search of Patton Cave - Charles Deam Wilderness - Hoosier National Forest

Patton Cave is a beautiful geological gem of the Charles Deam Wilderness in the Hoosier National Forest just south of Monroe Lake. It has been a destination for decades for hikers, cavers, & nature enthusiasts in general. I was joined by Michael from Michael Peterson Backpacking as we set out from the Blackwell Horse Camp in search of Patton Cave. Join us on one of the coolest hikes in Indiana as we search for and eventually find the famous cave. If you plan on visiting, please be aware that it is not open to the public for many months out of the year. Plan accordingly.
