I'd previously been able to see this camera at Photokina, but didn't get a chance to take photos with it until now! Even though I only really got to use it for a few hours on the streets of Le Plateau-Mont-Royal and up the top of Mount Royal, I found it incredibly convenient and familiar to use, based on my previous experiences with my Fujifilm X100F, X-H1, X-Pro2, X-T2 etc. Everything about this camera just feels like a bigger version of almost every other Fujifilm camera. The shooting experience was just as enjoyable and the files that came out were just as pleasant, although mind-blowingly detailed! I like the direction Fujifilm is heading in with the GFX series, starting with the GFX 50S, this GFX 50R and the upcoming GFX 100. The competitive pricing and abundance of features and lens options are very refreshing for the camera industry and I'm excited to see how it will develop in the future. It's especially interesting to see how competitive and saturated the full-frame market has become lately, in comparison to this medium format market. Apologies for the wind noise in this video. I knew it was windy but was unaware how sneakily annoying this particular wind was for getting on the microphone.
