The Tunguska air defense system is a Russian weapon that was made to safeguard against various aerial threats, including helicopters, aircraft, drones, and cruise missiles. The system was created in the late 1970s and early 1980s by the Tula Design Bureau of Instrument Engineering and is named after the Tunguska River in Siberia, where a meteorite impact happened in 1908.
