Dean Karnazes, the Ultramarathon Man I run for 500 km but I am the average man
In 2006 he ran 50 marathons in all 50 states of the U.S.A. in 50 days in a row. Some compared him to Forrest Gump while others, as Men's Fitness magazine, praised him as the fittest man on earth. Dean Karnazes, also known as the Ultramarathon Man, wakes up every morning at 3.30 to run the marathon of the waking hour to then come back home, prepare breakfast for his children and to take them to school. All this in the early hours of the day... Extraordinary athlete and average man at the same time, our impression - upon meeting him in Milan - is that he's a happy man above all: do you want to know his secret?
