Mazda CX-30 | How To Use Mazda Radar Cruise Control
In this car vid we cover how to use the Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) and the available traditional cruise control. The cruise controls are located on the right side of the steering wheel, and are easy to use with the right hand. The Mazda CX-30 has Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go as standard equipment. This cruise control is adaptive using the radar sensor. This means that when set and driving it will automatically adjust your speed to match that of vehicles in front of you up to your set limit. If you have the vehicle set to 65 MPH on the highway and you approach a vehicle going 55 MPH, the MRCC will slow you down to 55 MPH with you doing anything. Then if the vehicle in front of you speeds up, the system will speed you up also to your set limit of 65 MPH. The Stop & Go feature will slow you down to a complete stop without requiring you to apply the brake, when you approach a vehicle or object that is slowing to a stop or at a stop (within reason). When the stop feature is applied, you will see a "HOLD" notification on the instrument cluster using the Electronic Brake Hold system. When traffic proceeds and it's safe to continue, you can hit resume on the steering wheel or tap the accelerator for the cruise to accelerate to the desired speed.
