I've always wanted to see what it's like to overland through Botswana during the wet season, so this January, my wife Tabby and I packed Tom Cruiser and headed north to explore Chobe National Park for a week during summer. With us were our good friends, Francois and Steph, as well as fellow safari YouTuber, Byron Grobler. In fact, he made a video about the trip as well, which you can watch here: • The Path of a Lion: Chobe National Park, B... . Luckily for us all, Byron's girlfriend, Caleigh, was able to join as well. Despite very heavy rains and localised flooding, we were able to cross into Botswana at Stockpoort and managed to drive all the way to and through Chobe National Park without getting stuck once! My Prado, Tom Cruiser, however, did have serious issues with its alternator, which we had to sort out along the way. In Chobe National Park we camped at Ihaha Campsite for three nights and using the opportunity to explore the stunning scenery and sightings along the Chobe River itself, before heading on to Savute for another four nights. I hope you enjoy the video! If you did, please like, subscribe and consider becoming a patron of the channel by following the link at the top of this description.
