Here are some common mistakes: Excessive device power – this can overload the amplifier and prevent it from functioning properly. Poorly selected band – if the operator in a given location does not support the amplifier's band, the device will be unusable. Incorrect cables and connectors – low-quality cabling can cause signal loss and interference. Incorrect antenna location – too close to one operator's BTS and too far from another can prevent the amplifier from functioning properly. Are there legal alternatives to GSM amplifiers? The illegality of GSM repeaters stems primarily from the fact that improperly selected and installed devices can cause interference in carrier networks. However, anyone who decides to install them should be aware of the risks and use high-quality devices with self-adjusting functions.
