2 Modern Messiaen Moves! Mode 3 & Diminished Scale Harmony

Both of these modal movements are drawn from Messiaen's 'Theme and Variations' (1932) for violin and piano. The first idea comes from the diminished scale (Messiaen's Mode 2) and we look at how we can use this altered colour to create a chord scale.
