R107 Mercedes 450SL Restoration

First, sorry about the "text to speech" narration, there was no choice as I don't have a microphone. This is a pictorial record of the rolling restoration of my 1979 R107 Mercedes 450SL. I bought it cheaply on Ebay in 2010, it was at the bottom end of the market for R107s at the time and I knew it would have issues. My plan was to run it for a while and then move it on, however in the end it grew on me and it turned into my new hobby. The pictorial is only a small summary of the work carried out but gives a good flavour of the sort of problems I ran into and skill I had to learn. This shows what can be done by anyone who is a bit handy with tools but has no experience of car maintenance or restoration.
