Didn't have time to cover this in the video? 1. Road Safety. The design of a camper trailer is extremely unstable. On poor roads, the trailer sways from side to side, bounces over bumps, and even skids on turns. And if you've loaded your caravan with heavy items, it's not far off the mark. 2. Speed. In most European countries, the speed limit for a combination (car, tractor, and camper trailer) is 80 km/h. Yes, yes. On a highway where everyone drives 120/140 km/h, you'll always be stuck in the far right lane, impeding overtaking trucks. As a result, it will take you longer to reach your destination than in a classic camper. 3. Difficulty in Control. Do you even know what it's like to control a ten-meter locomotive? Well, don't even start! Reversing is practically impossible: the trailer constantly turns the wrong way, and you can't see anything. 4. Toilet. I didn't want to touch on such a sensitive topic in the video. What do you need to do to empty the bio-cassette? - Go to a campervan park where you can do it. How do you get there? With a caravan? But what if you don't want to hitch a caravan to flush the toilet and drive this 10-meter miracle to the middle of nowhere? You'll have to put the bio-cassette on the front passenger seat or in the trunk. At the very least, this causes great discomfort and creates a bad smell (throughout the entire cabin). Not to mention what will happen if the police stop you for a search. 5. Wild Travel. With a caravan, wild travel is practically impossible. A caravan isn't designed for constant movement. Otherwise, your travels will turn into pure horror. Traveling with a caravan means rarely moving from campsite to campsite. 6. Wild campsites. How do you get to a wild campsite where there are no people if you're the owner of a caravan? - You can't. Not only are you not a 4x4, you're not even a motorhome! With such a combination, you won't get anywhere, or you'll end up plunging your caravan into a cliff (as I once did). 7. The shower topic isn't covered. The lucky owners of a motorhome will wash themselves in warm water under their own shower. You, however, will wash at gas stations (often in dirty truck showers) or in other public showers and pools. This is extremely inconvenient, and it's not always possible to find somewhere to wash. 8. No 220V power. Besides not being able to use the air conditioner, water heater, and ventilation, you also won't be able to use any devices that require a power plug, including chargers for mobile phones/laptops/drones/cameras, etc. Where will you charge them? - In cafes, public showers, and gas stations. I tried it and I don't want to do it again. 9. Soundproofing. The walls of a caravan are very thin. This means you'll hear absolutely everything going on outside. And of course, everyone outside will hear everything going on in your caravan (your conversations, toilet visits, and sleep). You'll definitely not be able to sleep in the city or with noisy neighbors. 10. In bad weather. In bad weather, you'll either be stuck driving or unable to change parking spots, or you'll have to spend half an hour in heavy rain/hail/snow/wind/cold towing your wonder. Doing this in the dark is also extremely inconvenient. 11. Towing vehicle. The vehicle that pulls the trailer/caravan wears out significantly over time. P.S.
