Sandy Spring: Unity in the Time of Segregation
A Montgomery College Student studies African-American life in Sandy Spring, Maryland, during a pivotal time in the 20th Century for civil rights. During interviews with several elders he gains an interesting insight into the community. Montgomery College is a public, multicampus community college in Montgomery County, Maryland. Montgomery College serves nearly 60,000 students a year, through both credit and noncredit programs, in more than 100 areas of study.
