PGA Tour 2K25 - Iron Fist

Designer: retteach. Iron Fist is a fictional design creation located halfway between the Lak Otelnuk Iron Mines in Quebec and the Carol Lake Iron Mine in Southwest Newfoundland. Iron Fist was founded in 1959, when the fictional iron mine “Or Rouge” meaning red gold, went bankrupt and was shut down. The red refers to the distinctive red rock exposed in the open pit iron mining process. The provincial government expropriated the land and Iron Fist was born. The course surrounds the old open pit mine giving players a surprising panoramic view of nature versus man. Iron Fist offers a solid test of golf on wide camboured fairways dug into natural forested land. There are no fancy bells and whistles here. The course plays as a par 72 at 7,612 yards from the back gold tees. Four tees and four pin sets offer the golfer variety and require different skill sets depending on the tee you choose. Greens are receptive and average in size with some interesting movement to challenge golfers. The course was designed and tested to easily handle 203 green speeds but was published at 180 for a more relaxed playing round. Iron Fist gives a truly unique look and feel where man meets nature.
