Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian military medics have witnessed an endless stream of complex injuries and deaths of servicemen, absorbing all the pain and horror of war. For the first time since 2022, a group of medics finds themselves in the peaceful environment of Sweden, where they come for a retreat for psychological rehabilitation and get the opportunity to reflect on what they have been through: the loss of their comrades, Russian captivity and the guilt of not being able to save everyone they helped.
