My wife and I have been married for 5 years, and we have been so busy that we have not been able to go on our honeymoon, but this time we decided to take the plunge and go on a motorcycle trip to Hokkaido. This time, we headed south along the Oloron Line from Rumoi and took the "Labendare" ferry from Otaru Port to return home. In Otaru, we enjoyed seafood we had missed and boarded the "La Bendaa. The fare for the "Labendaa" was 27,200 yen for a deluxe room plus motorcycle fare. (Otaru to Niigata Port) It was a little expensive because it was a nice room, but it was the best room in terms of relieving the fatigue of the trip. We had a private room with a private deck and it was like our own home on the sea. The ship also had an open-air bath, which was a different experience from the ferry ride we took on the way there. After arriving at Niigata Port, the temperature was very high (37°C), so we took a break before returning home to wash our motorcycles to express our gratitude for the five days we spent on the ship. The cost of the trip was about 150,000 yen including fares. It was almost all fare, but it was a very rich memory of our honeymoon. Hokkaido, the land of riders' dreams, was as charming as the rumors said it would be, and it was a place that made us think, "Someday we will go back. We will definitely return again.
