Originally up until 2012, all R142As were on the (4) and the (6) Lines. Starting in 2012, the majority of the R142As that were assigned to the (6) got converted into R188s for the CBTC installation that went onto the (7) Line. Of the sets that from the (6) that weren’t converted, cars 7591 to 7655 remained on the (6) until 2017 came along. By then, those sets started to get transferred to the (4) Line since all remaining R62As were getting transferred off the (7) for service on the (6). The last sets to run on the (6) Line were 7596-7600, 7601-7605 and 7606-7610. Those sets were transferred to the (4) Line in early 2018 when all R62As were moved to the (6). This run was taken on a former (6) Line set. I will say tho that I like the R142As on the (4). They can use some cleaning though. I tried doing the {7} Express train earlier in the day and unfortunately because earlier in the week, a hacker took advantage of me, I was hacked on Facebook and it wasn't fun. But I have it all restored and it will happen first thing in May. Hey guys, I’m curious what you think.
