The PC Engine: Retro Technical Analysis Part 1 | Hardware and History
In the late 80's the video game market was growing up and one little white contender took the world by storm. This is the tale of that mighty 8-bit console that played in the big boy's park. Here I take you on a deep dive into the origins, history and hardware that made this little machine so great. Then we look at the games and some brief comparisons of just how it moved the game on and took the early lead in an emerging medium. Part 2 will cover its battle against the Megadive and Super Nintendo with some detailed comparisons and suprising results, Retro-tastic.
