The three main tunings that are used to play Irish music on the Diatonic harmonica

Interested in learning Irish music? ☘️🇮🇪 👉🏻  / irishharmonica👈🏻   Here is a breakdown of the three main tunings that are used to play Irish music on the Diatonic harmonica. Easy Third, Richter and Paddy Richter tuning. My personal choice is the Easy Third tuning as that gives you access to chords and octaves and you don't have to bend any notes. I do use Richter tuning for some tunes, particularly the ones where I need the lower major 7th, that would be F# in the key of G. You can order your Easy Third tuned harmonica here: https://www.seydel1847.de/j-a-tunings These are my personal opinions, you always you have to try different tunings and see what works for you.
