I stayed at the Nishiizu Crystal View Hotel, part of the Itoen Hotels in Nishiizu. I took a direct round-trip bus from Hachioji to the hotel, where I thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs and all-you-can-eat and drink options. The hotel is located in Ugusu, between Toi and Dogashima, and is directly in front of Crystal Beach, a beautiful sandy beach, and the Ugusu Campground. Nearby are Koganezaki Crystal Park and Cape Lover's Point. This hotel is very clean and spacious, and even has a pool, making it a great summer resort. Unfortunately, it was October and the weather was bad, so I couldn't go out. If you stay for multiple nights, it's a quiet place where you can rent bicycles and relax by fishing. The large public bath is alternated between men and women on even- and odd-numbered days, so if you want to enjoy a long soak in the hot springs, it's best to choose a day when you can use the cypress bath. *Even-numbered days: Women use the Hinoki bath (with open-air bath), Men use the Crystal bath (without open-air bath). *On odd-numbered days, the schedule is reversed.
