Democrats Push Back: Rep. Brendan Boyle and the Fight Against Trump

The midterm elections are less than a year away, and Democrats are ramping up the fight against President Trump and his agenda. Democratic leader Rep. Brendan Boyle says his party is in an even stronger position than in 2018 to take big strides against Trump in the midterms. And as the ranking member of the House Budget Committee, a win would see him in a prominent position to lead the charge in the last two years of Trump’s term. Boyle says Trump’s policies are unpopular in many areas. His military operations in Venezuela, Republicans’ refusal to extend health care tax credits, and the increasing slide away from democratic principles are all driving voters away from Republicans in the midterms and beyond, says Boyle.
