The quality of TMR doesn't depend solely on the feed formula. Whether cows will utilize their full production potential is determined by the entire process – from the selection of plant species, through the harvest date of the roughage, to the preparation and feeding of the mixture. These are the conclusions of the debate "Preparing TMR – Where Do Breeders Still Make Mistakes?", which took place during the National Field Days in Szepietowo, with the participation of Professor Marcin Gołębiewski from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and Marcin Mierzejewski from DSV.
