交通大學人文社會學院紀錄片《觀人文．游於藝．化天下》 Observe the Humanities, Immerse in the Arts, Enlighten the World

《觀人文．游於藝．化天下》記錄了國立交通大學人文社會學院從無到有的發展歷程，強調其在理工傳統名校中建立人文與藝術教育的艱辛與成就。 學院早期以結合資訊科技與媒體實驗為特色，陸續成立了應用藝術、傳播科技、建築、教育、音樂及社文所等單位，藉此彌補理工教育在生命感性與人文博雅方面的不足。創立初期雖面臨資源匱乏與空間限制，但在歷任領導者的堅持與各領域優秀師資的投入下，逐漸形塑出如家庭般緊密的學術氛圍。透過藝文活動的推廣與跨領域的課程整合，該校致力於實踐全人教育，目標是培育出兼具技術專長與深厚文化底蘊的社會領導人才。2024年，隨著校內組織整併為人文藝術與社會學院，這股強調人本精神的影響力將持續擴大並傳承。 "Observe the Humanities, Immerse in the Arts, Enlighten the World" chronicles the "from-scratch" journey of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at National Chiao Tung University. The narrative highlights the uphill battle—and eventual triumph—of carving out a space for the arts and humanities within a world-class polytechnic powerhouse. From the start, the College carved out a unique niche by blending IT with experimental media. By founding programs in Applied Arts, Communication, Architecture, and beyond, it sought to bridge the gap in a technical curriculum, adding a sense of human vitality and liberal arts depth. Though the early days were marked by lean resources and tight spaces, the vision of its leaders and the passion of its faculty forged a community as tight-knit as a family. Today, through vibrant cultural initiatives and interdisciplinary learning, the school remains dedicated to "whole-person" education—grooming the next generation of leaders to be as culturally grounded as they are technically skilled.
