Design Patterns Course - Session 8
🎉 Session 8 is here! 🎉 In this series of events, we will explore popular design patterns and their implementations in Python and Java, using "Head First Design Patterns" as our reference book. After covering the key concepts, we will examine how the patterns have evolved to support modern architectures (distributed systems and microservices). Course Highlights: 🚀 Design Pattern Deep Dives with Guided Learning: Each week, we will dive into fundamental design patterns through a structured, chapter-by-chapter exploration of the Head First Design Patterns book. We will break down the purpose, structure, and real-world applications of each pattern. This guided learning approach will ensure a comprehensive and practical understanding of design patterns. Host: Irina Kamalova | / irina-kamalova Irina is a Founder of Women Coding Community and a VP Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan. Her experience as a Software Engineer includes working with large projects, search engines, distributed systems, performance issues, and huge data storage. She’s working at Revolut and building a platform for retail products. This includes supporting services to handle 40 million clients, huge throughput and low latency for data flow. Irina mentors mid-level engineers, constantly aids her team to go the extra mile and helps the company to improve the interviewing process, onboarding new hires, navigating interns and running knowledge-sharing activities. 👩🏽💻 About Women Coding Community Empowering women in their tech careers through education, mentorship, community building, and career services is our mission.
