LOGIC PRO iPad - First dive into Glitchy Perfection

My first track in Logic on the iPad - a steep learning curve with its ups and downs. The reason I’ve always stayed away from DAWs is they breed perfectionism in me, having complete control over everything is wonderful but dangerous…. Logic Pro is good, really good and I’ve enjoyed getting to know it through this track, which is over-complicated, busy and epic….pushing it’s limits - great for learning what any DAW can handle. Automation is the name of the game - it seems pretty much everything can be controlled in this way, even tempo and time signature. A perfectionists dream. The nature of this kind of DAW means nothing is left to chance and anything can be changed or remixed at any time…obvious maybe, but I always used to mix live and live with my imperfections! I’m going to see where Logic takes me for a while but have a funny feeling AUM will be calling me back very soon….(partly for my sanity) as I think it’s more what making music on an ipad is really about. Logic has many great built in apps like Beat Breaker (which is all over this track)….you don’t really need anything else - the reverb, eq, compressors (there’s lots), modulations etc are all great. Side-chaining is made super easy to implement. Most 3rd party apps work well, some need an update. Very stable, only crashed a couple of times but I’m counting on Apple, being the company they are, to keep regular updates coming in (especially as it’s a subscription!) Let me know what your thoughts - comments always appreciated. Please ‘like’ if you do and subscribe to hear more…. Thanks for watching and listening 🙏 Video created in LumaFusion, everything produced on an iPad Pro 2021 😊 My second iOS album “A Fine Day For Music, Right?” is available on BandCamp here - https://adamhardyman.bandcamp.com/alb...
