Dharmasthala I धर्मस्थळ आसपास ची मंदिरे I

Hi Friends.. After Spending Some very wonderful time in Belur and Exploring The Hoyasala Temples around Belur, today we are moving towards a new destination Dharmasthala Dharmasthala is situated around 90 / 100 kms from Belur, and the roads towards Dharmasthala are so beautiful and we travel through very scenic beauty of nature As we have to cross the Ghats which are big in length but are short in width at some point, due to which one has to wait for a couple of minutes at many places for the vehicle on the opposite side to cross the road or one has to go very slow if there's a big vehicle in front of you. We were advised in Belur to leave early for Dharmasthala considering these issues in the ghats section, hence we left Belur by 7.30 am.. On our way we took a stop for breakfast at a very scenic place at a Restaurant named Growers Coffee House at Cheekanahalli,this was about 30/35 k s away from Belur After our breakfast we headed towards Dharmasthala and Crossed the Charmadi Ghat without any traffic conjunction anywhere in the way We reached Dharmasthala and the headed to take the Devine Dharshan Of Shree Manjunath Swami..for which we purchased a special entry ticket of Rs 200/- each,this saved our time and had the darshan very easily and faster Afterwards we headed towards Sowthadka Ganesh Temple which is situated around 15 kms from Dharmasthala The Roads toward sthis temple is also very beautiful and scenic This Mahaganpati Ganesh Temple of Sowthadka has a history of several hundred years and it's believed to fullfill all the dreams and desire oc his devotees,the offerings made to this Ganapati Temple is also very unique.. From here we moved in to The Sun Temple Also Known as Sadashiva Rudra Surya Mandir located around 4 kilometres away from Ujire Village This is also a very old temple and this temple is famous for the offerings made by its devotees We ended our day at this location and then headed towards our Place where we rested leter You can sit back and enjoy this journey
