DIY Car Rust Repair: Fixing a Rusty Rocker Panel🚗

In this video, I tackle a car rust repair and repainting project from start to finish. Since manual sanding wasn't enough, I used a mechanical grinder and rust removal spray to completely clean the surface. After prepping the area, I applied two coats of primer and three coats of paint, waiting 5 minutes between each layer. I also share a critical mistake where I ripped off the masking tape too aggressively, so you can avoid doing the same. Finally, you can see the end result, including the natural contrast difference between the fresh paint and the old, aged factory color. ⏱️ Timestamps: 0:00 – Intro 0:18 – Sanding 1:38 – Grinding 4:50 – Cleaning 5:25 – Masking 6:31 – Applying the primer coats 7:14 – Paining 7:58 – Final results
