The Batara Kresna Tail Bus is a rail bus service owned by PT Kereta Api Indonesia which operates on the Solo-Purwosari-Wonogiri route and is a collaborative project between the Surakarta City Government and PT KAI. For only IDR 4,000, you can enjoy a comfortable trip from Solo-Sukoharjo-Wonogiri using Batara Kresna. The first schedule for the Batara Kresna Train from Solo starts at 06.00 WIB, then at 10.00 WIB. Meanwhile, from Wonogiri Station it starts at 08.00 WIB, and at 12.00 WIB. The journey from Solo to Wonogiri is estimated to take 1 hour 45 minutes. Arriving in Wonogiri I continued my journey on foot to the Wonogiri City Market. There we can find a variety of typical Wonogiri foods as well as knick-knacks and crafts. What you have to try are Pecel Wonogiri, Cashew Wonogiri, and various other specialties. I also visited Plintheng Semar Park which is located not far from the Wonogiri City Market.
