If you have specific skincare needs, follow these substitutions to customise your oil cleanser. For Extra Oily skin: Substitute Jojoba Oil with more Grapeseed Oil For Dry Skin: Substitute Grapeseed Oil for Olive Oil For Sensitive Skin: Add Chamomile Oil, it’s anti-inflammatory and reduces redness & irritation For Normal Skin: Add a variety of essential oils for fragrance but add no more than 5 drops to avoid irritating skin The Science of Oil Cleansing Oil Cleansing is based on the scientific principle that “like dissolves like”. Because water doesn’t mix with oils so you have to use harsh cleansing agents to remove dirt. Oil cleansers naturally bind to dirt and impurities on your skin - breaking down makeup and unclogging pores. It leaves the skin’s natural moisture barrier in tact because it doesn’t rely on cleansing agents.
