Pocket Stove from ebay - "benefit of the doubt" Boil Test#2
A couple of days ago I did a boil test on the Pocket Stove I bought on ebay. The stove didn't work out to good. I've gotten several comments and suggestions from that Pocket Stove video. YukonCornelius72 said, "It looks like it was made from a "Venom" brand energy drink bottle." Carlos Oak suggested, "Just to not completely bame it, try on a flat botton pot, maybe it needs the pressure?" MARK1HOE commented, "I don't think it will help but give the guy the benefit of the doubt and try the recommended? TWO ounces of fuel." I got several messages that voiced the same opinion as MARK1HOE and I even got a thumbs down that might because of the test I did. Or it might just be from that one person out there that seems to enjoy giving me the finger so to speak. 8-) In this video I do another boil test just to make sure I give the stove the "benefit of the doubt" as MARK1HOE put it by using two fluid ounces of methanol like the instruction sheet said. The test still didn't turn out to well. I guess I'll play around with it and see if I can improve it any.
