At this week's Global Passive House Happy Hour (3/17) Kim Walton, founder of Bow Crow Design, presented on preserved wood foundations and Passive House. Kim brings over 40 years of experience designing energy-efficient homes and small buildings. With an emphasis on energy modeling and building science, Kim is a dedicated practitioner of Passive House and Net Zero building principles. She uses preserved wood as a low-cost, low carbon alternative to concrete and will share positive and negative lessons learned.
