워십 기타 솔로의 비밀 (재즈 해야하는 이유)

Playing solos in worship guitar is a challenging aspect for many guitarists. Even if they know the scales, when they actually try to play them, they struggle with which notes to select and how to approach them musically. I learned the answer to this greatly from the improvisational style of jazz music. As you study jazz, you learn that it is more important to understand chords and create solos that tell a story like a melody than to play scales quickly. This approach is also very helpful for worship guitar solos. This is because, in worship, solos are more important for continuing the mood of the song, expanding the melody, and flowing naturally within the music, rather than playing flashy like in a concert. In this video, we discuss: “How is a good worship guitar solo created?” And how the improvisational style learned from jazz is helpful for worship guitar solos. ✔ For those struggling because they only know the pentatonic scale ✔ For those struggling because they don't know which notes to choose to play ✔ For those struggling because the solos they created don't fit the song I hope this video serves as a small hint for those struggling with worship guitar solos. 🎸 Series Part 1 – Chords (Jazz Chord Voicings) Part 2 – Interplay (Inter-instrument Interaction) Part 3 – Solo (Improvisation) ──────────────────────── 📌 If you enjoy praise, guitar playing, and worship vlogs → Please praise with us by liking, subscribing, and commenting! ──────────────────────── 0:00 Preview 0:27 Greetings and Video Introduction 0:53 Problems Guitarists Face 1:16 Why You Should Play Jazz 1:53 Chromatics for Solos? 3:11 'By the Blood of Jesus on the Cross' Solo 3:42 Applying Solos to Jazz 4:03 Fly Me To The Moon (Pentatonic) 4:34 Fly Me To The Moon (Adding Chord Tones) 5:01 Fly Me To The Moon (Things Learned from Jazz) 5:58 What You Learn When Studying Jazz 6:09 Applying to Worship Solos 6:28 Offering Thanks and Praise (Pentatonic) 7:10 Offering Thanks and Praise (Pentatonic + Chord Tones) 7:53 Offering Thanks and Praise (Things Learned from Jazz) 8:35 Reflections 8:57 Summary of This Series 9:38 Closing Remarks 9:58 Enjoy Worship ─────────────────────── -Contact E.mail - [email protected] Instagram - @kimgunu ──────────────────────── #WorshipGuitar #GuitarSolo #HowToPlayGuitarSolos
